The course provides support to students for enabling successful attainment of individual goals, especially as relates to the field of pharmacy.

This is an introductory course intended to introduce the student to healthcare topics in the news. Focus will be on in-depth exploration of topics and how those changes affect components of the healthcare system, such as patients, caregivers, insurance companies, and healthcare providers. The course aims to develop patterns of thought which stimulate critical thinking via active learning within small group discussions.
