Mission
The BA program equips students to integrate core business disciplines, apply analytics to managerial decisions, and deliver executable strategies through experiential and industry-connected learning.
Program Description
Students in this major will graduate with a variety of skills preparing them for jobs in the field of economics. The program's design includes foundational business and economics courses and specialized economics courses. This program is designed to provide students with the foundational knowledge and technical skills required for a range of jobs in the economics profession and to ensure graduates are using the most current tools and knowledge to thrive within the field.
Honors Program
We offer qualified students the option of graduating with Honors. This includes significant research, scholarship or creative activity under the direction of a faculty member. Interested students should consult with their advisor.

Academic and Technical Standards
Economic majors must earn a minimum of a 2.0 GPA (C) in all required and elective courses in the business foundation courses and the economics major courses.
